At 1074 meters of altitude there is a village out of the world, which you will find at the bottom of the conch-form valley after having enjoyed the 6 kms of the delightful little country road which leads you there, after leaving the 955 secondary road.

The very pleasant road, without many bends leads to at ALLONS and comes to a dead-end in the middle of the superb landscape with nature in an almost original state.

You are in a green setting surrounded by fragant hills, mountains and green meadows.

In winter, these meadows are covered with a white coat and you can discover the beauty of ALLONS under the snow.

In summer, you will take advantage of the quiet and the cool temperature of this bucolic frame far from the great touristic migrations.

You can go far some great walks, follow the little Ivoire river, tributary of the Verdon river, which springs from a source called “Font du Raï” and hike many hours on numerous marked out paths (Le Puy de Rent Alt. 1996 meters, Le Pic de Chamatte……) without crossing a house.
