Leaving Saint Andre les Alpes for LAMBRUISSE the road follows the Issole river through lovely mountain and forest scenery. A bridge crosses the Issole taking you into the Encure valley, where a stunning series of botanical contrasts awaits you. On your right, facing south, the bare rock face is the domain for local honey. On your left a natural pine forest shelters wild raspberries and roe deer in its cool shade.

Now the first fields come into sight and you are in the village of Lambruisse, flanked by hills on both sides.
